When the time comes to renovate your home, you should really consider doors and windows first. These can transform the look of your home and also the views you can enjoy, plus enhance the liveability that everyone will benefit from.

This is exactly what the owners of this home in Wellington’s central city suburb of Wadestown chose to do when they began a complete renovation of their older style home. A priority for them was making the pool area at the back of the home more open and free flowing for the enjoyment of family and friends. Foldback bifolds were chosen, using clear glass and powdercoated frames in a charcoal finish. It was also important around the pool area that the bifolds could be completely folded back, leaving as much space as possible for everyone to enjoy.

Says Peter Reeves of HPW – “Achieving that seamless transition from indoors to outdoors was something the owners really wanted, especially with the pool and the courtyard being a central feature.”

The front of the house was transformed into a completely modern style. Atlantic High Performance Suite Stackers were chosen because the owners wanted the new look to compliment the rear of the house. They also wanted the area opened up so they could enjoy the stunning views over Wellington Harbour and Westpac Stadium.

It’s easy to see how doors and windows can make a real difference and how they should really be a priority when planning your home.
